४५ किमी घट्दै सिद्धार्थ राजमार्गको दुरी, साढे २ घण्टामै पार गर्न सकिने

पोखरा । गण्डकी र लुम्बिनी प्रदेश जोड्ने सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण सडक सिद्धार्थ राजमार्गको दुरी घटाउने परियोजना सुरु भएको छ । २०२८ सालमा निर्माण सकिएको उक्त सडकको सुधार परियोजना अन्तर्गत अध्ययन सकिएको छ । वन तथा वातावरण मन्त्रालयले परियोजनाको वातावरणीय प्रभाव मूल्याङ्कन प्रतिवेदन सार्वजनिक गरेको छ । उक्त परियोजनापछि हाल १ सय ५७ किलोमिटर रहेको सडक १ सय १२ किलोमिटरमा झर्ने छ । जसअनुसार ४५ किमी दुरी घट्ने सडकको २३ किलोमिटरको सुरुङ मार्ग रहनेछ भने केही नयाँ सडक मार्ग निर्माण हुनेछ । अहिले झन्डै ६ घण्टा लाग्ने यो सडक खण्डको यात्रा स्तरोन्नति पछि साढे २ घण्टामा झर्ने अध्ययनले देखाएको छ । परियोजनामा काम गर्नका लागि एसिया इन्फास्ट्रक्चर इन्भेस्टमेन्ट बैकले चासो देखाएको छ । अध्ययन अनुसार २३ किलोमिटर सुरुङ मार्ग, ०.८६ किलोमिटर पुल, २.९५ किलोमिटर वायाडक्ट, ७४ किलोमिटर स्तरोन्नति र ११.७ किलोमिटर नयाँ सडक निर्माण गर्ने योजना छ ।
